With the establishment of our Village art studio and gallery, Wolwedans will have the opportunity to welcome local, regional, and international creatives as an ‘Artist in Residence’ for a period of between 2 and 6 weeks. In such a setting, their own artisitic expression will surely be inspired by the influence of our AridEden.
Artists will create – whether through painting, sculture, land art or other – and be invited to share their journey and expertise at our evening art classes where they can inspire an entire new generation of creatives.
At the end of their stay, each Artist in Residence will leave one piece of their work for The AridEden Project to be displayed in the forthcoming gallery. The collection will become an attraction in its own right, showcasing the inspiration brought to life in the heart of the NamibRand.
