Wolwedans is an active partner in conserving integrous ecosystems through the creation and expansion of large landscapes in and around the region of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. This is aligned with Wolwedans’ conservation objectives and has the added benefit of complementing the larger-scale land conservation goals of Greater Sossusvlei-Namib Landscape (GSNL). 

In addition to advancing Wolwedans' pursuit of large landscape conservation, The AridEden Project will also focus on rehabilitation and beautification of degraded landscapes, and a ranger training programme that benefits the NamibRand and the Namibian conservation tourism economy more broadly.
