Coinciding with the annual Wolwedans Cultural Festival and Winter Games is the annual Winter Cup. The event brings together soccer teams from neighbouring lodges, farms and other concessionaires across the region to compete in a round-robin series of soccer matches. The 12 teams (and growing) battle and laugh it out over the 2-day event, culminating in the finals where a winner gets to raise the trophy. Invariably, there is a dramatic finish as winners claim the coveted title of Winter Cup Champions.
