landart

LandArt – or earth art – is an art form that uses materials found on site for creative expression; these materials may be rocks, sand, vegetation, etc.

One of the first LandArt instalments at Wolwedans began at Boulder’s Camp in early 2019. It was a collective creation whereby hundreds, if not thousands, of stones were packed at the camp with the centerpiece being a replica of the Labyrinth (or Maze) of Chartres in France!

We will continue to pursue similar opportunities where artistic expression is paired with the beautification of our surrounding area.
