Wolwedans hosts an annual Cultural Festival during which as many as 10 of Namibia's 13 different cultural groups have showcased their unique traditions and festive outfits – it is nothing short of a feast for the eye and joy for the heart!

The Festival coincides with our Winter Games and Winter Cup, making for an impressive buzz of activity and amusement. There is also a potjiekos competition and a Gala Dinner on the final night with prize giving, live performances, and much celebration.

As of 2021 the festival will be open for guests to join and experience too. After all, it makes no sense to close all camps for two days when something so extraordinary and fun happens at Wolwedans. The festival could well grow to be ‘the’ annual Wolwedans – and even Namibian – event!
