journalism

Our in-house journalism activities will ride the wave of the digital transformation era, using our website and social media to carry The AridEden Project story from our remote desert location to an unlimited global audience.

We will welcome experienced media professionals and team them up with budding Namibian journalists, providing a great learning exchange and career development opportunity, while also ensuring that our message always has fresh, balanced input. Having an 'embedded' journalist(s) on site from March through December will enable us to capture and share AridEden Project progress as it happens, real time!

Journalist teams will have a Village media centre to enjoy as their operational base. Initially this will be housed within the Arts & Crafts Centre, creating a space that buzzes with energy, ideas, and inspiration. We may revisit this at a later time, which is part of the dynamic, organic beauty of The AridEden Project.
