Under The AridEden Project, we will be integrating an indigenous tree and plant nursery into Wolwedans Village. Cultivating indigenous species of plants will not only provide a source of revenue for the Foundation (through their sale), but will also contribute towards rehabilitation and regeneration of the natural biodiversity found in the Hardap Region where we are based. Focusing on indigenous species is essential due to their adaptation to the local environment as well as the role they play in providing habitat for other species, such as birds, insects, etc.
