For those who like to take every opportunity to connect with Mother Earth and feel the soil between their fingers, the Leave your Mark fundraiser offers the option to Plant a Tree during your stay at Wolwedans. Trees are planted at Wolwedans Village and guests engrave their name and the date on a brass plaque, which will be planted next to the tree, thereby 'leaving their mark'.

Planting trees and sharing their growth progress presents us with a wonderful opportunity to stay in touch too – annual updates (including a picture of “your” tree and its well-being) are sent to guests who adopted one and left their mark. 

Once the objectives of the Plant a Tree (and Adopt a Tree) programme have been met, it will evolve into the next phase of Leave your Mark, which is a tree nursery project.
