conservation levies

Conservation levies are collected from every Wolwedans guest on behalf, and for the benefit, of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. This has been part of the Wolwedans package from the start and has provided the reserve with a steady conservation management revenue stream. These levies have amassed a staggering amount of 27 million Namibian Dollars since Wolwedans' inception in 1995 – a substantial contribution benefitting biodiversity maintenance and conservation of the arid wildlands of NamibRand.
